While the whole situation is heartbreaking, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. His 10 months on this earth were so full of life and love, and I know he is still with me in spirit. They received mixed-to-negative reviews, although Love's performances were consistently praised. The contract empowered her to choose her own cameraman she selected future Academy Award-winner Clyde De Vinna. In 1918, Pathé Exchange was looking for a new star, and convinced Love to leave Triangle Fine Arts for a salary of $2000/week (equivalent to $36,000 in 2021).
